The Shade Tree - Our mission is to provide safe shelter to abused and homeless women and women with children in crisis; as well as, offer life-changing services promoting stability, dignity, and self-reliance. No one should ever have to endure a state of homelessness, existing in fear for personal safety and without the means to meet even the most basic of human needs – food and shelter.

We envision a culture where all fat people are free, celebrated, and liberated from every form of oppression.

SafeNest - Our mission is to provide comprehensive, collaborative, and innovative services for everyone affected by domestic and sexual violence while passionately working to end this shared epidemic. We not only provide a discreet, safe shelter for victims of abuse, but SafeNest is also the only nonprofit in the Valley to provide resources for batterers to address the cycle of abuse at the root.
