The City of Oaks Foundation

They believe that lives are made richer by nature and work to keep nature nearby for all to enjoy. As a home-town land conservancy, they work to preserve Raleigh's hidden natural treasures by acquiring land for parks, green ways, and nature preserves. They also work to connect children with nature by offering need-based financial assistance to families who can’t afford to enroll their kids in Raleigh’s outdoor summer camps and nature programs.

SOAR Outreach is a Wake County, North Carolina- based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is dedicated to empowering all youth, with increased accessibility and support for low-income and homeless youth and families. The Women's Center

Through its comprehensive clinical and holistic services, women experience transformation that lends to behavioral and physical healthcare wellness, safe and permanent housing, and dignity. WC provides a safe, low barrier, client-centered and trauma-informed environment for at-risk and unsheltered women, where they can begin the stabilization and healing process.

The Junior League of Raleigh is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
